Sadly, sifu Ted Wong, the “Iron man of Jeet Kune Do”, passed away this passed November 24th.
Ted Wong was Bruce Lee’s last private martial arts student and one of two people in existence to receive a JKD ranking certificate from the founder himself.
As one of the most influential people among the first generation JKD practitioners, sifu Wong played a pivotal role in the preservation of Bruce Lee’s martial arts legacy.
Although Ted Wong’s work is finished, it is our role, as martial artists, to carry on.
In memory of a much loved and respected member of the Jeet Kune Do family.

My prays go out tot all the family friends and student.
RIP Ted, you and all old and new students that sincerely have followed and still follow such great masters.

..Ted Wong played a very important part in the inner circle of the Jeet Kune Do family in the days when my Honorary Uncle Bruce was alive and the years following as he was much loved and respected by those who knew him closely.
